 Apple Will Change The World With This Launch

With Apple expected to be venturing into the TV market fairly soon, news of a somewhat bigger project has been rumoured around the net recently. Wireless industry expert Whitey Bluestein reckons that Apple are plotting to launch their own wireless data network for use on iOS devices around the world.

The company, at the moment, sell their phones through both Apple stores (unlocked for any network) and through retailers such as Orange, T-Mobile, O2 and Three here in the UK, and AT&T and Verizon in the US. To be able to use your iPhone or iPad (mobile data side of things) you’re going to need to be in either a contract or on a pay as you go plan with one of the forementioned companies.

However, with Apple’s rather large amount of cash, Bluestein says that Apple has definitely got the funds available to cut external parties out of the loop altogether.

 

Bluestein has also stated that Google will probably make this move as well, but Apple would have the advantage, if they were to create a wireless data network, purely because their entire ecosystem is already setup though iTunes, Apple Care and hundreds of retail stores worldwide.

The only thing Apple doesn’t have is a mobile spectrum, which they could certainly afford, and with 4G auctions coming up very soon here the UK, Apple could potentially jump in and knock the competition out altogether.
